IT Leadership at Trethowans
Trethowans engaged Lights-On to lead a technology transformation
Trethowans, a leading law firm with five offices in the central south of England, is widely recommended by clients in independent legal directories for its exceptional service and commitment to excellence.
To further enhance its client service offering, the firm engaged Lights-On Consulting to develop a plan for its technology and IT function.
As part of our Strategic Leadership service, we reviewed the IT environment and worked with the board to establish a programme of works and IT Strategy to deliver the board’s vision.
Using our experience in Programme Management, we identified what projects needed to happen and in what order. It was also important to build on the business as usual success while providing resources for an aggressive project timetable. The last 12 months have seen a technology transformation with almost every service or application being upgraded, replaced or new services added to the IT portfolio. The changes have allowed the firm and IT to work closely together and provide a foundation for innovation and efficiency to continue unabated.
Trethowans has a three year IT Strategy, which ensures the IT service continues to evolve with the firm and keeps pace with the speed of technology. The improved technology platforms allow lawyers to innovate and continue delivering excellent legal service.
Additionally with Lights-On leading the IT transformation it has allowed the firm’s leadership team and IT Partner more time to focus on other key activities.
“Trethowans commitment to delivering exceptional legal services goes hand in hand with ensuring we have the right technology in place to support our teams and clients. Partnering with Lights-On has allowed us to transform our IT infrastructure, creating a foundation for continuous innovation and efficiency. This transformation not only enhances the way we work but ensures we are well-positioned to meet the evolving needs of our clients, both now and in the future.”
